The Magnetic base SMA cable extension allows you to relocate your existing Rubber Duck/Swivel Blade antenna to a location with a stronger signal. Often used to place the swivel blade antenna on the outside of a metal enclosure or rack.
To Install:
- Remove your existing swivel antenna from the router or device it is currently mounted on.
- Connect the end of the cable on the magnetic base to the router and attach the swivel antenna to the SMA/Female connector on the magnetic base
- Locate the magnetic base with attached swivel antenna to the outside of a metal enclosure or top of rack where the signal is strongest
